Choice – Despite his continued popularity, he felt two terms was enough, thereby establishing the two term precedent

Domestic Issues and Events During the Revolution he used his War Council for advice thereby establishing the idea of the cabinet which he established during his first term. When President, Congress allowed him to make appointments for advisors without challenge establishing the precedent that the President can choose advisors –aka- the Cabinet. His Cabinet – Sec. of State Thomas Jefferson, Sec. of Treasury Alexander Hamilton, Sec. of War Henry Knox, Atty. General Edmund Randolph Judiciary Act of 1789 – Established the Federal Court System 1790 Capital moved to the Potomac 1791 Bill of Rights Whiskey Rebellion 1794 Treaty of Greenville 1795 – Indians in the Northwest territory, following defeat by Gen.
