Mexico’s Emigration Problem The US has an immigration problem… Mexico has an emigration problem. What’s the difference????? Emigration means to leave. Many people are leaving Mexico…why?? –View short video Mexico’s Emigration Problem (pg 5) Many people are leaving Mexico for better jobs and opportunities in the United States. How is this impacting the Mexican economy? –Fewer workers means fewer products and services for citizens.

Problem #2 - Inflation We have completed our study of Mexico. Look back over all the “Goals” from chapter 7 while you wait. Inflation is when prices rise because money loses value over time. (examples: movie tickets, etc..) Inflation PRICES Money’s Value
