4 2010 Jewel Scholarship 2010 Jewel Scholarship Zeta Upsilon Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc 7- @$1500 Eligibility: Graduating male high school senior planning to enter an accredited college of university in Fall of 2010 Be a resident of the Washington Metropolitan area Have an academic record that demonstrates future success Complete the application Obtain a current school transcript 2 page double-spaced typewritten essay that communicates “who you are” and “what this scholarship means to you” Deadline: April 23, 2010

5 HHS Interact Club Scholarship 2 @ $250 Criteria:Graduating senior from Heritage High School Member of Interact Club in good standing Must have at least 20 service hours logged by April 15, 2010 GPA of at least 2.5 Completion of the club scholarship form (available in the Guidance Office) with required additional information attached Essay of 200 words (no more than one page, double spaced) on “What have you gained from volunteering through the Interact Club, and how will you apply these skills in outside situations?” Admission to a four-year accredited university or college Selection:Recipients will be selected by the sponsors of the Interact Club Application Deadline:Friday, April 30, 2010
