3. Where did they live?
The Chickasaw Indians lived in Mississippi, Alabama,Tennessee,and Missouri.

4. Food/hunting
The chickasaw Indians were farmers. They hunted by using bows and arrows.

5. Shelter
They built their houses by covering a pole frame with grass, bark, or hides.

6. Government
Each Indian village had its own chief. All the villages chiefs a particular tribe formed that tribes council. The Council chose the tribal chief.

7. Religion
Alabama Indians believed in a supreme being. Different tribes used different names for this being. they believed he lived in the sky, and the sun was his sighn.

8. Rituals/Ceremonies
The medicine man of the village usually led the Indians ceremonies.

9. Unique Facts
The chickasaw made rattles from turtle shells, cows horns, and gourds. They were known for rivercane baskets, woodcarvings, pottery, and bedwork.
