2 New Chiller Accessories

3 EKAC200J: RS485 Serial Address Card
Three different connection possibilities exist: BMS: MODBUS needs an EKAC200J per connected chiller. No gateway. BMS: BACnet PTP (Point to Point) protocol requires an EKAC200J per connected chiller and an EKBMSBNJ gateway. BACnet PTP is a low level Class 2 BACnet. RS485: All other communication or plant management accessories requiring RS485 or RS232 communication require an EKAC200J per connected chiller.

4 EKACBAC Ethernet Address Card for Class 4 BACnet communication with a BMS system. Each connected chiller requires an Ethernet card. No gateway is needed.

5 EKACLON LON FTT Address Card for LON communication with a BMS system. The card is supplied preloaded with the respective LON xif chiller profile.

6 Tele-communication EKMODEM: Fixed Line Modem for remote monitoring of the chiller plant. A maximum of 32 chillers can be connected to a single modem. The modem communication protocol is RS232 and an EKAC200J and EKCON are necessary. EKGSMOD: GSM Modem for remote monitoring of the chiller plant. A maximum of 32 chillers can be connected to a single modem. The modem communication protocol is RS232 and an EKAC200J and EKCON are necessary.

7 Remote User Interfaces
EKRUPCJ: Remote control interface for EWAD~AJYNN. This interface can be located upto 500m from the unit. EKRUPCK: Remote control interface for other ranges. This interface can be located upto 500m from the unit.

8 EKCSCII: Chiller Sequencing Control
Separate control panel to allow the sequencing of a group of chillers (max 5) as a single plant for optimised power management and energy flow balancing. Chiller sequencing (Max chillers = 5) Cooling towers sequencing control (Max Towers = 5 each with 2 steps) Chiller sequencing Primary pump control (Max Primary pumps = 1) Secondary pumps control (Max Secondary Pumps = 5, with upto 2 inverter driven) Secondary circuit bypass valve control Chilled water circuit bypass valve control Set point override Demand limit Double set point Unit turnover BMS connectivity (Carel, Modbus, LonWork, BACnet) Remote On/Off Note: See separate EKCSCII presentation

9 EKPV2J: Plant Visor 2 For local monitoring (PC) of each chiller or remote monitoring via modem (EKMODEM or EKGSMOD) with the PlantVisorTM supervision program. Compatible with Windows nd Edition and Windows XP. Both local and remote monitoring is by RS232 communication. The main monitoring and control features are: Unit status monitoring Circuit status monitoring Modification of setpoints Display of Alarms
