3. Our school, Siri Seevali Maha Vidyalaya is situated in Matale District in Sri Lanka. Matale district is in the Central Province and it is surrounded by a range of mountain called “Knuckels”. Our school is about two kilometers away from the town. There are seven buildings in our school with a music room, dancing room, a computer room, and an art room.

12.  We are a mixed school. There are girls and boys too.  There are 170 students and 7 teachers in the Primary Section.  The morning meal is provided by the government to them.  Most of the students’ parents are farmers.  There are Sinhalese,Tamils and Muslims and Burghers. But all are learning “Buddhism” as the religion.

13.  They are learning Environment Studies, Sinhala, English, Tamil Mathematics, Art, Hand work and Physical Training.  They lively engage in Reading Club, Sinhala Association, English Language Association as well as Link Club as co-curricular activities.  As extra curricular work they do Computer studies.  There are Environmental pioneers too.
