The KCK PreK Story (Continued) 2006 At-Risk PreK - 510 students Governor Kathleen Sebelius funded PreK Pilot Crossroads to Early Language and Literacy grants (CELL) Expanded collaboration 50% public/50% Head Start/Community Agency KCK provided job-embedded coaches to Head Start KCK provided professional development to community sites KCK PreK was recognized by the state of Kansas as an Exemplary Program
