Keith Allen Haring May 4, 1958 – February 16, 1990 was an American artist and social activist whose work responded to the New York City street culture of the 1980s by expressing concepts of birth, death, sexuality, and war. Haring's work was often heavily political and his imagery has become a widely recognized visual language of the 20th century.(Wikipedia)

Painted in respect of the original story and to have meaning in modern times. Haring’s use of color in this piece makes it hard to tell what it is to give meaning to the art the viewer must interpret the colors to see Moses and the bush

This artwork is giving meaning to what capitalism has done, by having love be taken away from earth because it. Haring uses to colors to show a contrast in the similarity of the world and the difference of love being taken away.

Haring’s compilation of his ideals that he painted to sum up what he stands for and who he is in personality. Uses vibrant colors to emphasize on each individual piece.

This Artwork pays homage to one of Haring’s dance series artworks using pictures of people performing similar moves as in the original piece.

By doing this project I learned of Keith Haring's activism through art. And I saw how even though his technique was simple, he managed to produce art that was complex and colorful and convey a deep message. Keith Haring was a great artist that left his impression on the world and contributed to so many great causes.
