Quality Education for a Healthier Scotland Creating an interview: Key step in appraisal forms process for Appraisers (Primary and Secondary Care)

Creating a new interview (1/2) 1.Agree meeting date, time, location with Appraisee via phone / email etc – i.e. outside of SOAR 2.Appraiser (you) login to SOAR to create the agreed interview – This in turn allows Appraisee to submit forms for sharing with you – In some Boards this is done by the Admin teams; if you are not sure who should be creating the interviews - ask

Creating a new interview (2/2) 3.Appraisees submit their completed appraisal forms to the created interview (so you can review them) – Appraisees CAN proceed to complete their appraisal forms without the interview being created first… – … BUT until the interview is created, they have NO way to share the online forms with you

Login (as Appraiser) Click on “ Interviews ” Click on “ New Interview ” PC Appraisers will next be prompted to select the appraisee from a dropdown list

5 SC Appraisers need to select Appraisee from dropdown list Enter location details Select Period (fiscal year) of WHEN interview is scheduled (NOT what material is discussed) Enter Date and Time Add any additional comments (if applicable) Finish by clicking on Save
