25. GEDCOM Import  PGV will now import your GEDCOM file  This can take several minutes  Progress bars show you how far into import you are  Click continue if you reach the time limit before the import is complete

26. All Done  You can now explore your data  Go to the Pedigree chart  Go to the welcome page

Security Considerations  Being Open Source PGV is extremely secure…  But you can make it harder for hackers… Set your config.php file back to read-only Move your “index” directory to a location outside your “www” folder Rename the “index” directory Rename your “media” directory or use the media firewall
