The uses of Chlorine. Used to make safe drinking water all over the world. Used in the production of paper products, dye stuffs, textiles,medicines,foodstuffs, solvents, paints, and plastics. Used in pools to kill germs and keep it clean. Used for the extraction of bromine. It is used in the manufacture of chlorates, chloroform, carbon tetrachloride
