Two-week long intensive review courses offered prior to the start of the semester. ◦ Beginning Fast Track (MAT 060 & MAT 090) ◦ Advanced Fast Track (MAT 090 & MAT 099) Assessments are given at the end of each week. Students who score an 80% or above earn a placement into the consecutive math course. The placement is valid for the next semester only.

Funded by a President’s Innovation Grant Timeline ◦ Summer 2012: Coordinator hired and consultation held ◦ Fall 2012: Curriculum development and advertising ◦ January 2013: Pilot completed Initial Results (28 students assessed) *Fast Track students will be tracked.
