Business Needs: White Plains School District needed to replace their existing data network to meet the growing connectivity demands of their students and faculty. Solution: IBM is responsible for designing and implementing the Passive Optical Network (PON) and associated fiber cable plant for all of the White Plains School District schools and faculty buildings. The solution brings fiber optic data connectivity directly to the classroom providing unmatched performance and flexibility.
