Daily Behavior Predator are jaguar, caiman, ocelot, eagle, anaconda Twilight early in the morning Rest during day Often in the water Young capybaras follow their mother Stay in a group tell they mate Have a nursery Hide un water keeping young in middle Spend most of the day welding in mud

F amily Structures Their group leader is one male Less watery places they join other small groups Up to 100 pounds capybaras in one herd 5 months until born crèches = family of young Baby stay with mom for 1 year Crepuscular twilight hours Protect their young when attracted
