2. Many moons ago, in the town of Nazareth, an angel (called Gabriel) visited Mary and told her that she was going to have a baby. “He will be the son of God and called Jesus.” Joseph - Mary’s husband to be - was extremely furious with Mary because he thought that the baby was not his. Because of this, the angel Gabriel then visited Joseph and told him that the baby was a blessing from God.

3. The next morning, they set off for Bethlehem. Exhausted and energy less, they roamed across the dry, deserted dessert all because of a census. The poor couple and their donkey wandered for days on end to get to Josephs place of birth.

4. Mary and Joseph searched all the inns but unfortunately there was no room. Luckily, a kind individual let them stay in their run down stable at the rear of the inn.

5. Quite a while later, Mary had her baby Jesus. Joseph and Mary loved him dearly and Joseph didn’t mind that Jesus wasn’t really his child. All the animals gathered round to see the beautiful blessing from God.

6. The three wise men came to visit Mary, Joseph and the baby Jesus in the ancient, crooked stable. They brought gold, frankincense and myrrh. The shepherds also came to visit the baby. They brought a few sheep as a gift.
