Agenda  Answer the overall question, “How do we as FA professionals educate our students and campus communities about the big picture regarding student loans and successful repayment?”  Split into work groups to answer discussion questions  Share what the groups have come up with and open up group discussion. Our goal today is to share what we’re doing and ideas we have for the future and to walk away with a play book for how we can educate our communities best in years to come.

3. How do we help others see the big picture? 1. How does a student request a loan at your institution?  Applying for a loan through graduation, what steps do they need to take? 2. How do you educate your campus community on the details of borrowing? (students, administration, staff, faculty)  Subsidized vs. Unsubsidized, Aggregate Loan Limits & Interest Rates, Private Loans  SULA (new & transfer students)  Repayment & Default 3. What does your school do to help students understand the big picture- short & long term impacts of borrowing?
