In pairs, select a possible title for the poem. Summarise the content in one sentence.

Underline every word with a negative association in red. Underline every word with a positive association in green. Underline every word that you associate with religion in blue. Write one paragraph explaining why you think this poem presents such an idyllic view of England.

Count the lines Count the syllables in each line Work out the rhyme scheme (using A B C etc) Do you know what this poetic form is called?
