Vessel Traffic Service (VTS) The Vessel Traffic Center uses various sensor inputs to make decisions on VTS Measures – Communication with mariners – Cameras, Radar, Automatic Identification System (AIS) – Environmental data from sensors - P.O.R.T.S. webpage – National Weather Svc - webpage NOAA P.O.R.T.S data used on a near-real-time basis to make decisions in the Vessel Traffic Center Wind readings for Anchorage Administration measures taken from Robbins Reef

Vessel Traffic Service Vessel Traffic Service (VTS) Measures – Used to manage anchorages and other areas of concern during unusual circumstances – Allows VTS to maximize commerce under less- than-optimal conditions
