10 m 6 m What do we mean by the word locus? [plural “loci ”] It is a region which satisfy certain conditions. The diagram opposite shows a scale diagram of a garden, in the scale 1 m = 1 cm. A sprinkler is placed in the middle of the garden. The sprinkler can water the lawn within 2 m of where it is placed. Shade the area that gets watered. 2 m Locus
