The most useful pieces of data for NIFA are the qualitative outcomes written with quantitative evidence of performance Issue: Producers, seedsmen, and breeders are interested in new cultivars that bring them increased revenue. What has been done: The new varieties Faller Wheat and Lariat were released for use. Results: The estimated dollar value to producers, seedsmen, breeders on these new varieties is $290,600,000 for 2007. It answers the question, “So What?”

Research at Oregon State University has successfully developed an environmentally friendly wood adhesive from soybean flour had is currently used in commercial production of interiorly used plywood panels.
