9 Obtaining the Evidence Pupils’ Books: Do the pupils’ books include feedback for improvement? Does the feedback within the pupils’ books aid understanding?

10 PRSD Lesson Observation: Does the lesson concentrate on ‘Feedback for improvement’ when appropriate? Are all pupils familiar with the concept of ‘feedback for improvement’ and use the feedback to improve their learning? What strengths emerge from the lesson when feedback for improvement is evident? What areas are there to develop within the lesson when using feedback for improvement?

14 Pupil self evaluation Target Setting: All students set individual targets based upon baseline testing Action Plan: All students categorised as underachieving are given action plans set by subject teachers, HOY or a member of SMT Topic Self-evaluation: Students complete self- evaluation sheets at the end of each topic in most subjects Mock Results Day: All students complete a self evaluation sheet at their Mock results day
