3
I won’t describe what I look like, whatever your thinking I’m probably worse.
4
I’m not exactly your ten-year- old ordinary kid…
5
I mean sure, I do ordinary things like I live in a house, I play ball, I eat ice cream, I have an Xbox, that sort of thing makes me normal.
6
If I found a magic lamp and I could have one wish, I would want a normal face that did not send kids running away screaming…
7
A normal face that doesn’t get stared at everywhere I go.
8
But hey, you can’t really stick in, as a kid meant to stick out.
9
Don’t judge a book by it’s cover. Boy His Face
10
An Ordinary Kid…
11
An Ordinary School…
12
An Ordinary Face?
13
Not Quite.
14
August (Auggie) Pullman, born with two defective genes called ‘small anomalies’ and mandibulofacial dysostosis, which makes him look like no other person,
15
must get through a whole year of middle school.
16
Luckily he finds help following him…
17
such as Summer and Jack.
18
On a rocky path…
19
Does it all pay off?
21
Our favorite part is when Jack stands up for Auggie and punches Julian, the bully.

We recommend this book to readers who like funny, sad, and suspenseful books.
