REVIEW OF POLICY Classroom teaching must be observed using one of the four piloted observation tools: Charlotte Danielson’s Framework for Teaching, Marzano Teacher Evaluation Model, The Thoughtful Classroom, or 5 Dimensions of Teaching and Learning. Student growth will count for 25% of the final evaluation. Pending legislation: 25% 2015-2016, 2016-2017 40% 2017-2018

TEACHER SMART/STUDENT GROWTH PLAN Completed within Teachscape Same as last year K-5 teachers will have the goal and explanation of goal given to them to copy and paste in template K-5 teachers will then complete the remainder of the template (i.e. strategies)

Components of an Effective Lesson Plan-Checklist 2014-15 -Complete BEFORE the Announced observation -Complete AFTER an Unannounced observation -Form is within the Teachscape system

DOMAIN 4 It is encouraged to upload and archive evidence on a consistent basis throughout the year. Once the teacher presses submit, the evaluator will see what evidence is within Teachscape. The evaluator then will request revision which allows teachers to submit more evidence.
