INTRODUCTION We want to talk of the Christian's fleet of ships. Any Navy will have various ships to carry out various tasks. So it is with God’s Navy that is found in faithful Christians. WHAT ARE THE SHIPS IN THE CHRISTIAN'S FLEET?

DiscipleSHIP The signs thereof: Bearing fruit. John 15:8. Love one another. John 13:35. Abiding in Christ's word. John 8:31,32. Coming after Christ Luke 14:27

CitizenSHIP Obtained by: Not by money. Acts 22:28. By birth. John 3:5. Maintained by loyalty. Matthew 13:41,42; Revelation 2:10. Fellow citizens Ephesians 2:19 Philippians 3:20

FellowSHIP With: Not sin. Ephesians 5:11; Revelation 18:4. Christ. 1 Corinthians 1:9; Philippians 3:10. One another and God. 1 John 1:3-7.

WorkmanSHIP That it: Brings no shame. 2 Timothy 2:15. Is profitable. 1 Timothy 4:8; Titus 3:8. Is faithful. 3 John 5. We are God’s workmanship Ephesians 2:10

StewardSHIP What kind? Good. 1 Peter 4:10. Just. Luke 16:1-13. Faithful. 1 Corinthians 4:2.

FriendSHIP With whom? Not the world. James 4:4. With God and Christ. John 15:14; James 2:23. With Christians. 3 John 14.

HardSHIP Suffer: With the gospel. 2 Timothy 1:8. As good soldiers. 2 Timothy. 2:3. As Paul 2 Timothy 2:9; 3:12; 4:5,6.

LeaderSHIP We should: Recognize it. Heb. 13:17. Prepare for it. 1 Timothy 3:1; Hebrews 5:12; 2 Timothy 2:15. Be exemplary. 1 Timothy 3:7; 1 Peter 5:1-3.

CONCLUSION What type of fleet are you sailing? Will they measure up to the ships that we have just discussed?
