Is a single coordinated system of information and access for all persons seeking long term support in order to minimize confusion, enhance individual choice, and support informed decision-making. GSIL is: a statewide non-profit organization and one of its services is to provide specialized in depth information about resources specific to persons with disabilities and seniors.

9 8/9/2015 Statewide Independent Living Council www.silcnh.org SILC is a federally mandated (Title VII, Rehabilitation Act Amendments of 1973 as amended), independent, cross disability Council. The SILC represents the independent living needs of persons with significant disabilities across the entire state. The SILC looks at Broad Systems issues. Each state must have at least ONE Independent Living Center.
