4. Regional Advisory Council, EMEA Goal of RACs The primary purpose for these councils is to create a community of ICF leaders creating synergy and spirit through inspiration and support to serve the members and the coaching profession.

Regional Advisory Council, EMEA ICF EMEA RAC: the start The 5 members of the EMEA RAC were elected in March 2014 by the chapter boards, followed by a thorough application and selection process by the Nominating Committee. Candidates are ICF accredited members with previous ICF leadership experience.

7. Regional Advisory Council, EMEA Sylviane Cannio MCC Specialist in Strategy and Intercultural Communication. A humanist training executives with a coach attitude since the late 80s. A pioneer of coaching in Belgium. International keynote and book writer. Founder of Nova Terra Coach Training. Active in the ICF since 2002: President ICF Belgium 2004-2006, Chair of the ECC Brussels 2006, Director at the Global Board 2008-2010 and Vice- President in 2010.

8. Regional Advisory Council, EMEA Dóra Hegedu ̋ s ACC Business/executive coach with 1,000 hours experience, built on 15 years of corporate career and NGO leadership. Co-founder of Coach Academy ACSTH. ICF mentor coach. Since 2008 served ICF as founder/board member/president of ICF Hungary, member of ELM CT, member of ICF Global 2012 conference steering committee. President of the Federation of Hungarian Coach Organizations. ICF President's Awardee 2012.

9. Regional Advisory Council, EMEA Tiina Hellgrén ACC Business and executive coach since 2008. Leader at the insurance branch and experience of board work over 20 years. Served ICF since 2011 as board member/president of ICF Finland, RAC preparation team, PM and member of SC on Global Conference Malmö, member of HPO Team. Founding member of Ethical Committee for Mentoring and Coaching in Finland.

10. Regional Advisory Council, EMEA Kathryn Pope PCC Executive & Leadership coach with background as a marketing director and consultant across varied industry sectors. Active member of the ICF from 2002 with many chapter, regional and global roles: 5 years on UK ICF board (2 as President) - 2 years on the ELM Coordination Team and the originator, champion and Chair of ICF Global 2012 London. Keynote speaker in Europe, and qualified Coach supervisor.

11. Regional Advisory Council, EMEA Gürkan Sarioglu ACC Worked in ICT sector for 37 years, from Engineer position up to the CEO / Board member positions. Started coaching, as his second profession at the age of 60. An ACTP graduate and a member of ICF since 2007. President of ICF Turkey between 2010 - 2012. Leader of the Internal Regulation Committee and Chapter’s Ethic Liaison. Member of the “National Professional Competencies” team on Coaching.

13. Regional Advisory Council, EMEA How do we function? RAC meets virtually every 2nd week for one and a half hours. Members manage their own dedicated projects in between. We take our decisions unanimously. We use Google Drive, Dropbox, Basecamp and Zoom as our communication means. Projects are suggested by the half yearly EMEA Leaders Meeting and RAC reports back to ELM. We strive to become a high-performing body of ICF – our team coach, Ludmila Egorova supports us to achieve it.

14. Regional Advisory Council, EMEA Mission To represent all the EMEA Chapters and their interests in the ICF community, To work as both the Institutional memory and the Voice of the region, and Act as a strategy level influencing body and bridge within the ICF community.
