Predicate Nominative The predicate nominative is the noun following
a linking verb that restates or stands for the subject. Here are some more notes

Practice 1. Complete all odd 2. Share given sentence on board 3. Label Part of Speech (only for one on board)

Exit Slip 1. On page 37 in the Grammar Book, find an example of a Predicate Nominative in Exercise A. 2. Write the sentence and circle the noun and its object. 3. Then label all of the words’ part of speech.
