This military general conquered Gaul, returned to Rome with his army, and was later killed by people in the Senate who thought he was too powerful. 8.) These brother reformed Rome and gave land and grain to poor farmers. 9.) He was Caesar’s close friend who turned against him and stabbed him. 10.) He was the Carthaginian general who invaded the Roman Empire during the 2 nd Punic War.
