My Project Stage One Draw a subject of your choice. Use as many tools as you wish Include your name in the illustration Save and close your work Stage Two Open saved work Make changes Use save as to save a copy using a different name for your work.

My Project Stage One Draw an illustration for the story we are reading. Use as many tools as you wish filling out the whole scene (including foreground and background) Include your name in the illustration Save and close your work Stage Two Locate and open saved work Add or delete characters from your illustration, make any other changes: size, colour, position, etc. Use save as to save a copy using a different name for your work. Print your work.

Creating your own Pattern Stage One Create a pattern using cut, copy and paste Make your pattern interesting by using flip and rotate. Save your work Stage Two Open and rename the file to create a new version Modify your picture by using some editing features such as resize, etc. Save your work with a new name.

Creating Paintings Stage One Select a picture to copy. Use a variety of brushes and tools to create your painting. Use the edit colors feature to create new colours. Save your work at regular intervals. Stage Two Be prepared to share your work and explain how and why you used the painting techniques that your did. Be prepared to answer questions about your choices.
