1 Subject and Object Pronouns

2 Subject Pronouns Remember, a pronoun takes the place of a noun.
A subject pronoun is used in the subject of the sentence. Examples: I went to the grocery store yesterday. We bought 3 boxes of cereal. Notice that I and we are both in the subject of the sentence.

3 Object Pronouns An object pronoun is used in the predicate of a sentence so it comes after the verb. Examples: Alex will go to the grocery store with you. Mom will push the cart for me.

Write the pronoun in each sentence and tell if it is a subject or object pronoun. He knows where to find the dolphins. Who saw them first? That dolphin is playing with us. It is swimming under the boat. I could stay here forever.
