35. CHRISTIANITY CARRIED BY THE APOSTLES, IS THE BASIS FOR MOST EUROPEAN AND NORTH AMERICAN CIVILIZATION, HUMAN RIGHTS, GOVERNMENT AND LAW

36. MANY OF THE FAMOUS VICTORIAN MISSIONARIES WERE NOT, IN FACT MISSIONARIES. THEY WERE EXPLORERS AND WERE NOT SENSITIVE TO THE NEEDS OF THE PEOPLE THEY TRIED TO CONVERT ALONG THE WAY. THEY BELIEVED THAT EUROPEAN CHRISTIANITY AND CULTURE WAS GOD’S ONLY PLAN FOR EVERY NATION.

40. What bothers me the most is that these people come back to their church and feel good about what they’re doing while the children that really needed help are still starving.
