2 My Position Containment was a good idea We saved South Korea from communists Harry Truman was U.S. President, his Truman Doctrine prevented the spread of communism

3 Invasion North Korea Invaded South Korea in June of 1950. They overran most of the country including the capitol of Seoul. The North had Russian made T-34 Tanks

14 Conclusion: The Truman Doctrine was good Japan, China, South Korea and the United States must work together to resolve the problem of two Koreas
