3 With no doubt, we need to read the prompt so we know what is being asked. Let’s read some prompts now and talk about them.

Presently, we know what each prompt is asking us to write about. Make sure you write 3 strong reasons that you can write the most about. Let’s look closer at the Introduction Paragraph.

10 Introduction Yes! A “grabber” sure gets the attention of the reader.
You must have specific words from the prompt. Preview your 3 reasons. Let’s discuss the following Introduction Paragraphs.

11 Introduction Have you ever been to the Florida Keys? The sparkling ocean is perfect for snorkeling. The beaches are relaxing and the sea food is delicious. You just have to visit the Keys this summer.

12 Introduction Did you know that pets put you in a good mood? Small pets are easy to take care of. They aren’t expensive either. So, I want a hamster for my birthday.

16 In short, the Introduction must grab the reader and clearly answer the question being asked. I should list my reasons in various, descriptive sentences.
