Possible reasons our evangelistic efforts have not met with success Jesus wants disciples who become like Him, and we are seeking “clones” of ourselves. Jesus wants disciples who have undergone a radical transformation, and we are content with “nice people.”

Jesus wants disciples like Him who are religiously militant, aggressive, and revolutionary, and we are content with “meek and mild” individuals who are passive. Jesus wants disciples and we are ill equipped to meet that need.

Matthew 28:18-20 Over the years we have emphasized Go! and Baptize! Go, as you go, having gone; DISCIPLE or MAKE DISCIPLES; by baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit; by teaching them to obey all the things I commanded you; and I will be with you always, even to the end of the age.
