More than 3,000 jobs were added in physicians’ offices. Dental Offices added 2,000 jobs.

The industry’s largest employer, hospitals, has a LQ of just 0.54—their share of Nevada employment is about half the national average.

For hospitals, this “competitive effect” equated to 2,000 additional jobs.
