3. What is place value?
Place value chart- shows the value of the digits in a number
Period- in greater numbers each group of three is divided with a comma is called a period
Place value- name and value of a number in a certain position
Standard form- is the way a number is commonly written

5. Pattern? When the number goes from ones to tens it is multiplied by 10
When the tens are multiplied by 10 it becomes 100.
When the hundreds are multiplied by ten it becomes 1000.
