It involves supplying loans and savings to low income people who can not use a bank.

5.  Lima is the largest city in Peru with 7 million people.  33 % of the population is Mestizo  50 % are indigenous (native)  10 % are white  7 % Asian and African  The Spanish brought with them a class system which was in place until 1900.  In some areas of the country native people and mestizo’s still belong to the lower class where as the upper class is mostly white.
