2. Acquiring Water Pipe lines running through the land of the desert, with a bowl like funnel that provides a large supply of rainwater. As this becomes available, a storage system may be put into place to provide high survivability in droughts. Conner

3. Waste Management With such a high population there are bound to be waste management problems. Dubai needs an extensive sewer system that is capable of accounting for low water availability in the area. Our group proposes a water treatment compost system that would allow waste to be recycled and water to be reused.

4. New Transportation Plan In order to prevent and reduce the amount of pollution, there will be certain mandates including that "all cars must be 'ecologically friendly' that are driven within the downtown area." Roads will also be solar paneled and forms of mass transit that will be available include bullet trains and Uber cabs.

5. People’s Livelihoods The UAE is the third highest country in water usage. There are many careers available in accounting, banking, healthcare and more. nathan in order to sustain water and promote job growth we need to establish water purification facilities so we can recycle the water we already use.

6. Topography Lies within the Arabian Desert but its topography is significantly different than the surrounding areas. Dubai has fine, white, clean dunes compared to the gravel dunes found elsewhere in the area.

7. Native Plant The desert rose is a small flower with a bowl like shape in the center of its leaves. This provides the idea of large funnels that run throughout the city to purification plants in order to gain clean water, also the idea of white buildings to cool temperatures in the desert. Conner

Native Animal the arabian oryx is a native antelope to the arabian peninsula. it was declared extinct in the 1970’s but has sice been brought up to the vulnerable level. it is the national animal of the UAE, Jordan, and Qatar. In our new Dubai, we will establish special reserves for the arabian oryx and other animals so that we can maintain the region's biodiversity.
