3 Union/North Vs. Confederate/South Union fought for slavery & freedom. It took 5 years, but they fought through it.

4 Union/USA Vs. Confederate/CSA UnionConfederate  2,128,948 people fought for Union.  360,222 people died on Union side.  Union won with victory!  1,082,119 people fought for Confederate.  260,000 people died on Confederate.  Confederate lost in defeat. 

5 The Civil War used multiple types of weapons. Some of the weapons are Rifles, hand guns, pistols, & many more. It was the most bloodiest battle in US history.

6 Confederate swords and guns. In the Civil War they didn’t just use gun they used swords too.

7 Facts about Civil War.  The Civil War was the bloodiest battle on North Carolina.  They didn’t use tanks or airplanes.  World war I was After the Civil War.  The Civil War began when Confederate warships bombarded Union soldiers Fort Sumter, South Carolina on April 12,1861.  The Civil war started in the U.S.  The War started from 1861-1865.

8 Facts about the civil war.  The only transportation was the railroad.  The Union armies were victorious to the win.  Around 40,000 thousand North Carolinians died.  They used hourglass for timing cannon fires.  The North Carolina Cherokee Confederate fought the last skirmish in the state at White Sulphur springs on May 6 surrender on May 9,1865.
