3  Can you imagine a world today with slavery?  The American Civil War determined what kind of nation the United States was going to be today.  This webquest is going to help explain the roles of individuals, groups and movements leading to the Civil War. The American Civil War

12  This Is a webquest designed for fifth graders studying history.  The students will explore the techniques leading to the causes and effects of the Civil War.  Through guided research the students will be able to identify the build up and events that occurred in the Civil War. In order to help my students investigate this imporant event in history:  First, I did some research about the Civil War to educate about myself on this important event.  Second, I searched through several internet sites to find appropriate and accurate information for the students.  Finally I created a webquest that shows my research and follows Indiana Academic Standards.
