Questions How many different oceans are there?
What kinds of plants grow in the ocean? What kinds of animals live in the ocean? If you could create your own ocean, what would you call it? What is your favorite ocean animal and where does it live? If you could create an ocean animal and plant, what would it be and why?

Group Task Students will be divided into five different groups that will represent the five different oceans Each group will research their assigned ocean and report on: Where the ocean is located Animal Life Plant Life Students will Report their findings in front of the class and answer any questions other students may have

Group Roles Ocean Locator: This student will research where this ocean is located, what continents surround it, how large it is, and what oceans can be used for (transportation, food, water, etc.). Include an interesting fact. Animal Life: This student will research five different types of animals that live in the ocean, what does each animal eat, where does this animal live, does it have any interesting characteristics. Include an interesting fact. Plant Life: This student will research five different types of plants grow in the ocean, name a popular ocean reefs, where do these plants grow, and what kinds of animals eat these plants. Include an interesting fact.
