Directions:
Create a ‘What In the World Activity’. Complete a scavenger hunt on as many math tools as you can locate in your environment (home, school, etc) with a minimum of 8 images.
Using a digital camera, take close-up photographs of as many math tools as you can find. Your image may be of just a small part or piece of the tool. Make sure the images are clear. Then take an additional photograph of the entire math tool. Now create a worksheet or powerpoint using the close-up images and present to the class as a fun test of their math tools knowledge. Be sure to include an answer key that shows the image of the entire math tool.
