This is an 8% increase from the Quarter 1 assessment. 71% of 6 th graders are on track to meet or exceed the Science standards. This is an 11% increase from the Quarter 1 assessment. 69% of 7 th grade students are on track to meet or exceed the reading standards. This is a 7% increase from the pre- assessment. Areas of Concern 44% of 6 th grade students are on track to meet or exceed the math standards. 35% of 8 th grade students are on track to meet or exceed the math standards.

5. Galileo & DIBELS Desert View Data Statements Areas of Strength 68% of 3rd graders are on track to meet or exceed the math standards. This is a 15% increase from the Quarter 1 assessment. The number of 3 rd grade students needing “Intensive” support on the DIBELS Middle Benchmark went from 59% to 53%. The number of 5th grade students needing “Intensive” support on the DIBELS Middle Benchmark for reading fluency words correct went from 58% to 40%. Areas of Concern 27% of 4th grade students are on track to meet or exceed the math standards. 25% of 5th grade students are on track to meet or exceed the math standards.
