An ongoing learning process to PhD level Information literacy is key to independent learning Accumulated 500+ Journal papers during literature review Regular reading of publications has helped both subject knowledge and writing skills Continually develops critical thinking skills which are central to discussion and analysis at the level expected for PhD Learnt the importance of utilising information to develop new contacts and open access to ‘protected’ information/knowledge
