The Galapagos Islands consist of 13 major islands and 17 smaller islands and some 40 rocks that make up the archipelago were born from a fiery volcano deep in the Pacific Ocean The Galapagos islands are a province of Ecuador There are 13 main islands. Only 3 islands are popular There are in the equator

CHARLES DARWIN 1535-The Galapagos Islands are discovered by the Bishop of Panama, Fray Tomas de Berlanga 1835–Charles Darwin arrived on HMS Beagle He study the different animal in the island and why they live there. Darwin was a British scientist who laid the foundations of the theory of evolution and transformed the way we think about the natural world.
