Make sure borders are still in tact and durable for feeding Wipe slide to remove any lint or debris but use great care – be careful not to scratch the slide - any scratches will show up on the scanned photo

Decided on an Outdoor Theme for the Negatives Negatives used were from 1999, 2001, and 2002 All Negative Photos Scanned are Mine Some were in good shape; others that were loose were scratched and bent Learned that some of the lines and spots that showed up on the scanned photos were actually from a dirty processing machine when the film was processed

Carefully wipe negative – do not use scratchy wipes or hands – this could cause scratches to show up on the scanned video Make sure slide is long enough to fit in negative tray so it does not move or get stuck in the scanner

Adjust the Color Balance such as Contrast, Brightness, White Balance Crop if necessary Remove/fix scratches with Healing or Cloning tool Remove/fix dark spots with Healing or Cloning tool Rotate photo if necessary Fix small/annoying imperfections if possible

There are many options available to create a Slideshow In Windows, you can set your screensaver as a slideshow In Windows Picture Viewer, you can set your photos to play as a slideshow You can use Windows Movie Maker to create a Slide Show Video You can use Power Point to create a Slide Show

In Windows Photo Viewer, you can “Play Slide Show” All you need to do is select the folder with your photos, open it in Windows Photo Viewer, and Select the Play Slide Show button at the bottom of the screen

You can also personalize your desktop to use your photos as a slide show Right click on your desktop, select Personalize, select Screen Saver, and select folder with the photos you would like to use for the slide show/screen saver

Create a PowerPoint Presentation and insert the photographs you would like Save it as a Powerpoint Show (.pps or.ppsx)

Use a movie maker or video maker program Select the photos for your video Add a title and credit slides at beginning and end Save it as the format you would like to play in

Decide on a timeline Decide on music or background noise if you want Decide if transition effects, i.e., fade in, fade out, enter corner, etc. Decide if you want it in a constant loop Decide how to start and end the video Decide on a theme or subject
