Approval of Changes to Agreements Relating to The Disney/SBA National Entrepreneur Center

Background A unique public-private partnership dedicated to the development, growth and success of small business. 11 service organizations at the Entrepreneur Center. 22,000 square foot facility on Lake Eola in downtown Orlando, including state-of-the-art training rooms and a business information center.

Organization and Operation 1. Original Co-sponsorship Agreement for the Disney/SBA National Entrepreneur Center — signed in January 2003. 2. First Amendment to Co-sponsorship Agreement — April 2003.

Actions Requested A. Approval of the Second Amendment to Cosponsorship Agreement for the Disney/SBA National Entrepreneur Center between Orange County, Florida, the U.S. Small Business Administration, Disney Worldwide Services, Inc., and The University of Central Florida. B. Approval of Amended and Restated Cosponsorship Agreement for the Disney/SBA National Entrepreneur Center between Orange County, Florida, Disney Worldwide Services, Inc., and The University of Central Florida.

Second Amendment to Co-sponsorship Agreement Terminates SBA sponsorship. Hires Executive Director reporting to Executive Board. Set responsibilities of the Executive Director.

Amended and Restated Co-sponsorship Agreement Replaces the original Co-sponsorship Agreement. Identifies lead sponsors going forth: Orange County, UCF, and Disney Worldwide Services, Inc. Changes name to Disney Entrepreneur Center. Sets operational responsibilities of cosponsors. Extends co-sponsorship support to 2010.
