Where We’ve Been Each year over 100 students at 5 high schools attend class in the mobile lab Over 6000 additional students and 1500 adults have toured the CIM Mobile Lab. High School CTE Instructors have been trained. CIM User Group has formed CIM Mobile Lab was featured on the national news. The CIM Mobile Lab was cited Sullivan report as a promising idea. Door County’s Washington Island Mission trips into the Oshkosh and Taycheedah Correctional Intuitions. Several “copies” of the mobile lab have been produced

How It Works First three CNC courses transcribed (4 credits) 10 high schools per semester at 12 students each Visit each high school for 3.5 hours (4 periods) each week (am or pm) NWTC Lab Aide delivers, sets-up and assists the high school instructor High school instructors are trained at NWTC $5000 operating fee per semester for each high school – sponsorship opportunities Schedule via NWTC web page

Why Dual Enrollment The study shows an increase in: The likelihood of earning a high school diploma Enrolling in college Students’ first-semester grade point averages in post-secondary education Persistence rates in college Dual enrollment provides an encouraging strategy for promoting student access to and persistence in postsecondary education.
