LOUVRE The Louvre Museum is popular for having the largest collection in the world. The museum was open on August 10, 1793 after the revolution. In the late 12th century the museum was actually a palace and royal fortress built by Philip II. The French Government Owns The Louvre. The Louvre is also known for having controversies that surround cultural property seized which were under Napoleon I. The Louver has been featured in movies. Fun fact: There is McDonalds inside the museum.

MONA LISA The Mona Lisa is the Louvers most famous work made by Leonardo da Vinci. The Mona Lisa is also known as La Giaconda. The identity of the women in this painting has remained a mystery. There have been many times when the Mona Lisa was taken away. Notice that she doesn’t have eyebrows, many have said that Da Vinci forgot to finish the painting and others believe they were removed from being moved to much.

LOUVRE PYRAMID The Louvre pyramid is made out of glass. It is a glass and metal pyramid. The pyramid is a landmark of Paris it was completed in 1989. There had been rumors believed by some people that the glass panes in the pyramid number the number or the beast. (666) There are three pyramids total the but larger pyramid is the entrance to the museum.
