A Bald Eagle has brown feathers in the first 3 or 4 years. Most eagles are brown and black. They can be up to 24 to 45 inches. A Bald Eagle weighs 14 pounds. Their wing span is 6 to 8 feet. They have strong legs and sharp talons.

Bald Eagles eat owls and mice. Bald Eagles rarely eat road kill. Their is a variety of other animals. It eats ducks, fish, coots, and many other animals. The Bald Eagle dives straight down to catch it’s prey.

We like a Bald Eagle because it is the U.S.A. bird. It is special because it is the U.S.A. bird. That is all about the American bird.
